Student Schedules

Academic excellence is our goal.  Your child has been placed in classes based on strengths and weaknesses he/she has exhibited in the past two years in class work, standardized testing, and teacher recommendation.  Teams are academically equivalent based on student's School Ability Index scores.  A schedule change affects the entire building, not just one child.  Every effort will be made to provide the student with the best learning environment.

There will be a 100 minute Math class to strengthen Math skills to ensure student success in Algebra I when the student moves into the 9^th grade.  Students are placed in this class based on past performance on the Alabama Reading and Math Test, Stanford Achievement Test 10^th Edition, and SAI scores.
